Love Bite

It's a dog eat dog world out there!!

Clattering past; at first I thought these two were mating but with a stealthy bit of stalking followed them, neatly avoiding the ants nests so prevalent on the floor. He had her by the throat - quite gruesome really. I've never seen this before so had to blip it despite the other few hundred taken today.

We were at Alligator Lake, near Lake City having abandoned the nature trail at White Springs due to torrential rain. Driving on a muddy and waterlogged path for three and a half miles into dense forest, not a soul around with thunder crashing and banging overhead was not for the faint hearted but we did get to see the Suwannee River from a view point today. I got soaked! 

Mentally, during the drive I was wondering what would happen if we broke down as the car swung, skidding from side to side. Hubs went inadvertently swimming with his phone yesterday so it would have been a tricky call!
