pulau ubin! my favourite bit so far. we got a bumboat over to the island, which is more or less how singapore probably looked originally before it was developed. jungly with some houses and loads of dogs hanging around. we hired bikes and rode right round the whole island which was ace. we saw monkeys (don't look them in the eye!) a nonchalant wild boar, lizards and the noise of the birds was amazing but we couldn't see them. sweaty. but ace.

back too late for tennis, so bombed into the pool instead.
