gold

Em and I sought treasure beneath the hedgerows in a little post dinner pre bath time ramble across the farmers fields. The grass was so long it nearly reached up to Em's knees. She loved wading through it. Our arrival at the primrose bank was heralded by the call of a male pheasant who was hiding  under the gnarly old hawthorn bushes. As a girl I remember primrose banks everywhere at this time of year, not so common these days.
