Today's the day ......................... to get soggy

Incredibly we've become accustomed recently to dry weather - and I'm talking about one of the wettest bits of the United Kingdom.

But last night, it did rain - which must have given my new tulips a bit of a shock.  It certainly made them hang their very frilly heads, now full of water and much heavier than they were before.

So what with that - and the plummeting temperatures - they are probably wondering what sort of world they have arrived in ..........................
