Nice View

A classic view over Nice, from the top of the Colline de Chateau. Featuring from left to right: the sea; the beach; the promenade, the flower market, the Old Town with its red rooftops; and finally, top-right, the beginnings of the newer part of the city, with its multi-storey buildings.

We took a picnic up to the park at the top of the Colline de Chateau this afternoon. It's probably my favourite place in the world. Wife, dog, wine, baguette, cheese, ham, sunshine and gorgeous views... bliss.
