St George's Day

Went to visit our campsite with the 2 Akela's I'm going with on our joint Cub/Brownie camp. Very excited about it all now!

My Scouting family took part in the St George's Day parade to Budock Church (although we were late due to Bella's taxi back from Performing Arts GCSE not bring booked!). They wouldn't cooperate for a photo though.

To celebrate the first time I've been a 'drop and run' parent, I took the Scout Parent Helper to the pub for a drink - the church was too full for parents to stay so we were being considerate ;-)
