Zion National Park

The majority of today was taken up by the long drive from Torrey to Mesquite though on the way we got the chance to stop off at Zion National Park. The colours and sandstone of the park was stunning with beautiful structures. We were looking at aeolian facies and discussing how they were deposited and what impacts they could have on sub-surface reservoirs.
