First Rose

I always like to see the first rose of the year in our yard.  This one was blooming today.  It is on a bush called a Knock-Out rose.  They have become quite popular. They are supposed to be less susceptible to diseases and problems of other roses.  I suppose that's true, but I treat this one much like the more traditional ones.  Looks like we'll have 3 more blooms very soon.
