Rydal Water.
Today's expedition was to White Moss Common, where we got another parking shock. An un-tarmaced dusty car park with ANPR and payment by the 20 minutes. The first hour £1 and then 35p per 20 minutes!
We didn't let that put us off and set off on the path round the water going along the side away from the A591. The sky was clear and the surface of the water hardly disturbed at all. We wandered along taking all sorts of shots and coming across lots of other walkers and dogs. You very nearly got a shot of a tree surgeons dog standing in the lake with a perfect reflection.
After Rydal we went back to the car for a picnic before heading the other way towards Grasmere. You can have shots from Grasmere another time! Clickychick had to be back at the studio by late afternoon so we cut that part of our walk a little short.
