Cowslips

The weather this morning was variable with bright sunshine with intermittent dull and overcast skies. I gardened at the front of the house, for two and a half hours, doing two small beds and one medium sized bed. I now have one small, three medium and one large border to do. I also tidied the handing baskets and window boxes.

Today’s picture is of a red Cowslip, surrounded by ground Elder! This bed has already been cleared once this year, but needs doing again. Typically all the borders get done about five times a year and usually look their best in the Spring.
