This Is New

Sunny today, the builder appeared unexpectedly early this morning to begin to sort out the garden and especially the pond; he was coming next Wednesday so that is good progress, in that area anyway.
 
As soon as he was let out after the builder had departed at lunchtime, Dougal went out, as he always does, to investigate what was different. This is a wheelbarrow full of sand and cement, left ready for the plasterer who is coming tomorrow to complete the plastering so far. There will be a lot more plastering to be done once the work progresses further.
 
I spent much of the morning completing my draft OU Career Development and Staff Appraisal form for submission to my line manager and subsequent discussion in June. It is hard to think of career progression when you have already had a full time career from which you have retired!
