Farewell faithful friend...

So the sad day arrived & Elsie has just left with her beaming new owner.
We've had a lot of good times together - and whilst the next chapter is certainly going to be exciting - I don't think I'm finished with having a van for good - I think they get under your skin - I certainly know that saying goodbye has been harder than I would have thought.
Elsie's taken me across Europe - round most of Scotland and been a fixture at climbing crags in the Lakes - a proper home from home - somewhere warm & welcoming to return to at the end of a long day in the hills. I certainly hope G. gets as much pleasure from her as I have.
