An orange flowering cactus in bud.

The weather is sunny and blue skied here and somewhat cold as well.
I like this mix of weather, but wrap up appropriately.
I have stayed home doing washing and dusting, tasks that make a house a home.
De cluttering is still happening, but slowly.
I find throwing things away quite distressing, so often I box them up and clear spaces, but never feel I let go of the souvenirs and small treasured gifts.
Sentimental, and soppy, I know.
This orange cactus, is old and beautiful, well loved and strong.
It is like an Easter cactus, but it brings to mind, Pentecost, when the tongues of flame appeared and it must have been amazing.
