The Wardrobe

Oh boy has this child got a lot of clothes or what! People have been so generous in their gifts, but I am darn sure most will never be worn! However there may be more babies in the future and lets hope that one of them is a girl!!

Today has been rather a steady day. Miss Tbay visited and we went through Wedding budgets and Invitation ideas. This is a very scary process which brings one out in a cold sweat at times!! Then it was off to the pub for a pint (well a small white wine for me) where Miss Tbays husband to be joined us. Mr Tbay then had a meeting with one of our new tenants to go over the progress of his unit. After that a small nap was in order. 

I headed for good old Matalan to pick up a few items for Miss G. Then home to wash Pip who smelt so strongly of Fox it was not livable with let alone sleepable with! She does NOT like being washed and I had to use stealth tactics on her. After her bath she  then rushed around the house rubbing herself on anything she thought would dry her. I decided to let her outside at this point and she headed straight for the flower bed and rolled in the soil/dry manure!!!!  Grrrr!  Still she smelt better than before even after this! I then deicided that I would hair drier her to hurry things along which was successful apart from the fact she now looks like a little round fluff ball. Not a good look!

Farming - Rusty on tanking this morning. Raymond came to check the Forager over as we could well be going silaging early next week if the weather holds. He will also be drilling the first maize this week if the dry and warm spell continues.

The Tbay Jnrs will be here any moment as they will be joining us for supper including little Miss! I like that!
