A literary leaf

My fig bush is starting to grow its leaves for this year.  So far I have kept it in a pot inside my greenhouse but I am thinking I may plant it outside this year so it can grow a bit more freely.  It was grown from a cutting taken from a friend's plant; in turn, their plant was grown from a cutting taken from an old fig tree originally planted by Charles Dickens at his home in Kent.  I have Great Expectations that it will grow well when I put it outside.
