Mt. Adams

After a hike through a lovely forest of mature Douglas Fir, switchbacks took us to the top of Sleeping Beauty (4907 ft.) a basalt rock outcrop. From our viewpoint we had stunning views of several major snow-covered volcanoes in the Cascade Range. This photo is of Mt. Adams (12,276 ft.).
