Catching the rays.
Nice spot for a camp site. I hope someone tells them the weather isn't this good all year round. And during the winter, you can't see the sun setting from there!
Nice day again today, and after having the solar panels fixed yesterday, we've put it to good use producing 20 kW of electricity!
Had a visit from Paul Monaghan today when he was canvassing for the election. Very easy to talk to, and a very charming and approachable man. I wish you good luck Paul. Our politicians seem a lot more approachable up here, and attend local events and mix with the public. Perhaps that is why Scotland is more switched on politically?..
Sowed some more seeds, parsley, spinach, and chard, 16 rows altogether on the croft, and pottered in the tunnel.. The salads I sowed a week ago are just starting to come through.. Fixed a leak on leaking hose pipe. It had rubbed against a stone and made a pinhole that was spraying out a fine jet of water. As the pipe feeds the greenhouses, a spur to the tunnel, another to the hens, and then down to the croft - it's left turned on all the time..
I'm getting the bug for astro-photography after yesterdays shot, just need to connect my camera to the telescope now! I'll work on that one..
