Dinner Party

It seems that my Goldfinch from yesterday invited a few friends over for dinner.  At one point I counted 12 clinging to the feeder and 6 others waiting on the tree branches.  I like this shot because in addition to the the 6 Goldfinches on the Nyjer sock, there is also a House Finch on the top left. Then, on the other feeder there is a Downy Woodpecker, Red-breasted Nuthatch, and another House Finch. These feeders are just outside our living room windows so we can watch all the activity.  This wasn't my best technical shot of the day but it is my favorite and it really looks much better full screen. :-)
