Izumi cranes

We stayed at a small guest house, right next to the crane feeding grounds, unfortunately the majority of the cranes have left for Siberia.
We had to get taxis to the public onsen, which caused a bit if consternation amongst my fellow cyclists, I enjoyed it, there were local Japanese women there, of all ages, just getting on with getting clean.
Thomas cycled to the onsen and back, in his katana, commando!! That would have been an interesting censored photo!!
