Manual Focus
I was unsurprisingly slightly off the ball today, but managed to pull it together and get my work done.
It appears that something strange may have happened too.... I've been offered more work - at my old job! Thankfully not doing the research bit that I had become unhappy with, I'll be trying my hand at some fundraising (which may well be more up my street). No, this doesn't require me to stand on street corners with a bucket!!
I've got an old legacy 50mm f1.8 lens that I had in my parents' garage for years, and I've been having some fun playing with it. The focus peaking on my EM-1 helps with the focus as it doesn't interact with my camera. It feels nice to use. It's hardly a replacement for my 12-40mm f2.8, but using it is a different experience.
I decided to get it out tonight and took a few shots of Miles. The little rascal wouldn't stay still for more than a second, so manual focus, low-light and motion blur meant that I didn't get anything tack sharp, but I still like this one!
