Luke Howard Trio

After work, I met up with Dad and we indulged in the always amazing, always line-at-the-door, always terrible (TERRIBLE) service Shanghai Dumpling house before a couple of pints.

When we were suitably warmed up, we set off for Bennett's Lane Jazz club to see the Luke Howard Trio. I'd hoped for someone better well known, but I guess that's what you get with a Wednesday (and the Nai Palm and swooping duck gig upstairs was sold out).
The drummer was thankfully excellent, and the other two were OK, but we both enjoyed it and got to bed too late for a school night!
