The boy leaves home

Well it had to be the blip of the day. My son was reluctant for a full pic but we negotiated and settled for this one entering his new property. He is officially a property owner. Of course he has returned here tonight for tea (though to be fair he is cooking it) and tomorrow will start the process of getting the house in some order. Starting with the bed so he can start sleeping there!

Today has been busy, setting everything up and chaotic but he is in and hopefully this will prove a significant crossroads in his life. He is 31, so unot before time, though he does not earn a lot and it is hard to be independent these days thanks to austerity measures!

For me the impact is muted so far. I've spent most of the day with him, he is home tonight and my daughter comes home for the weekend. So it will be a while before the changes has impact on me though undoubtedly it will.
