Dandelion but no burdock

Had a lovely hour today with a researcher who is looking at the impact of 365 projects. I was able to reflect on a wonderful 16 months on this since I joined and tease out some of its real pleasures. The research is looking at the concept of 'positive computing' arguing that computers can be a source for good.

I had no problem talking of the wonderful impact blipfoto has had on me, documentation of my daily life, sharing stories, photos with so many wonderful followers, improving my photography, identifying birds and so on and so in. It reminded me that I am desperate to get the 365 book I ordered but still have not got. I do hope they honour that debt.

It reminded me that people leave blipfoto as well as join and it feels sad when someone decides not to blip anyone. I promise when the time comes for me to go I will tell you all

My son home tonight from holiday in Dubai and then tomorrow packs his bags and moves out. It will be a difficult day tomorrow in all sorts of ways. I will miss him but glad he is getting settled as I don't own my own house so he could not live here forever. All change - watch this space.
