Darling Buds

Down into deepest Kent today for a car photoshoot. We were in Idyllic Darling Buds of May country, where spring is currently in full bloom. The hedgerows are bright with young leaves and a profusion of blackthorn flowers, and the orchards are lush with blossom that will be a healthy crop of fruit come autumn.

Some of the fields are swathed with vast strips of glittering polythene that reflects the sunlight and ripples in the breeze, as if the land is full of water. It is very eye-catching and so I was tempted to blip that, but preferred the natural beauty of nature in bloom.
