I took a swing through Mount Auburn Cemetery, a beautiful spring day today.  Sitting, thinking my thoughts, I noticed these two enormous burls growing on opposite sides of a white oak's trunk.  Here's Wiki's explanation of what causes this irregular growth on a tree.
