Chinatown street scene
I did not go out much during the Songkran celebrations. But today, I went to Bangkok Chinatown in search of a few shots exploring more narrow lanes and unknown corners. I bought some retail Chinese tea and some chestnuts. I chose this photo because it pretty much gives a flavor of Bangkok Chinatown. It was taken on Yaowarat Street the meandering, dragon-like street that crosses Chinatown. The shop has a sign in three languages: Chinese, Thai & English. Of course, the orange robe of the Buddhist monk standing at the kerb is a reminder that this is in Thailand.
