Autumn

This is certainly a wonderful time of year; that is as long as the sun is shining.
The last couple of days have been a bit bleak and I had to don a sweatshirt but today was outstanding.
The garden is slowly changing colour. In the summer these hydrangeas which grow on either side of our gateway are pacific blue, but now they are a palette of earthy colours, and are equally as beautiful.
Apart from photographing these lovelies, the highlight of my day has been purchasing a new vacuum cleaner and trying it out. It's so good to have a cleaner with a decent length of chord and powerful enough to almost lift the carpet of the floor.
