See The Beauty

I was reading about Georgia O'Keeffe today...one of my favourite artists .
If you are not aware of her work...check it out on google images. She was discovered by famous American Photographer Alfred Stieglitz. Her work stunned him ! Captivated by her intelligent and gifted spirit, he married her and encouraged her artistic pursuits wholeheartedly. She was influenced by one of their Photographer friends, Paul Strand who's work was tightly cropped. She painted flowers and skulls amongst other things which were also tightly cropped so the details were revealed.
