St Jean d'Angely street scene

We went to the market in St Jean d'Angely and met some friends for lunch on the terrasse at Scorlion, a restaurant I'd never been to before. I had velouté of courgette (soup) with a curry froth on top, followed by skate with puréed parsnips, and then carpaccio of pineapple with a coconut sorbet.
It was a very hot day, and much as the lunch was nice, and in a lovely setting, it became almost too hot to sit there! After we came home I spent the rest of the day getting all my summer clothes out of storage!
