Spring flowers

Not a very Springlike day though. No sun. 10c and a cold wind.
However, these flowers brightened up a dull day on our walk round Harlow Carr gardens this morning.
It is always a pleasure whatever the weather.
Always something to see.
There was also a ceramics and glass exhibition . Some beautiful pieces on display. Came away with a ceramic leaf, which we both liked.
( to be blipped at a later date!)

I forgot to say ,yesterday ,how much we all enjoyed the wine tasting on Monday night.
Five of us had each chosen a wine from 5 different countries. England, France, Portugal,Australia, and California.
All of them good.
A nice meal to follow, made a perfect evening.

Secret Britain at 9pm on BBC 1 tonight is in North Yorkshire , and one of our favourite places,  Rievaulx Abbey, is not going to be secret any more!
