Time to Spare

A little sunshine makes all the difference whatever you are doing. True, come high summer when temperatures hopefully soar, we undoubtedly will be complaining about the heat.
But just now any occurrence of warmer weather and the onset of sunshine is welcome. We sat in the open in this square for coffee and hot chocolate this afternoon, and were very happy to watch the world go by.
In a small town you do not have to sit for long before acquaintances or friends pass by, and there is probably no better way to spend ten minutes, or even linger for  longer time, to catch up with the world and indeed those old friends.
We could have hurried through the market square to and from the shops, although we had parked only just round the corner. But chances are we would then have completely overlooked this display of tulips and the manner in which they open up a welcoming and warming bright complexion to the town centre, and indeed the afternoon shopping..

Think we will find an hour to spare again tomorrow.
