london town

Took the train to St Pancras and walked up to Islington to go to Ottolenghi's café. I was very excited :) Don had shakshuka and I had frittata with sumac salad and yoghurt on top. We then had cake each (mine was a raspberry and rhubarb almond slice with meringue on top!) and I quaffed a glass of Prosecco. Well worth the trip to London just for this brunch :)

We then spent the rest of the day on our feet...we walked to the British Museum (spotted Annie Lennox on the way!), then Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Westminster, Big Ben, the South Bank, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, St James's Park, Admiralty Arch, and the list goes on. That's all in the wrong order but as this is a back blip, I can't remember the exact turn of events :)

Brilliant day and home on the train that evening where the couple of guys next to us sat and talked pretty openly about the fetish scene and the clubs they go to, costumes etc! Entertaining!
