Spring at Whittington Castle

The sun was a bit bright for photography when I walked past the village  castle but I wanted a shot while the daffodils were still alive. Someone has planted a number of spring bulbs that weren't there last year, they look lovely (though last week some had been picked and thrown in the moat).

Update on yesterday's blip, the lady that fell over on the walk has dislocated her shoulder and broken her collarbone and was having an operation today. It must have been terribly painful.
