Waiting
Some of the dogs waiting in the buggy whilst we move last years calves from the hill park to the hill on the farm where we manage the livestock.
No internet at home, no mobile signal(normal) and the phoneline sounds like there is someone crackling a bag of crisps in it. Told BT 2months ago the phoneline wasn't right, well now its really not right!! Using internet at the farm where we manage livestock to put this up today. Looks like I will be behind for a while and certainly wont be commenting etc so sorry for my absence. Hope I don't loose momentum now its more of a challenge.
Lambed one of my friendly shetlands yesterday, shes called Toffee. Correct presentation just taking a wee while to lamb so since she is so quiet I gave her a hand. Lamb was amazingly quick on its feet and a gorgeous pure Shetland ewe lambs so really pleased.
Also had a ewe with still born lamb that I have twined on the lamb from yesterdays blip onto. This involves skinning the dead lamb and putting the skin on the lamb you want it to adopt. To fool the mother that it is in fact its lamb. She took to him immediately, her milk is a little slow in coming but other than that hopefully that's the boy with a new mum.
8c 10mph sw dry in the morning wet in the afternoon evening.
