Come over here and make our day.....

On our walk this morning we passed by this gate watched by these two boxers who let us know that they were in charge on the other side of the gate and would ensure we didn't get too far if we chanced to cross to their territory.

Some stereophonic barking was interupted by a minor disagreement over who should lead the barking or indeed whether one of the dogs should be barking at all. After a bit of squabbling they came to an understanding and decided that two barks were better than one so recommenced their barrage of noise.

We were out early with Barbara and David who are down from Scotland to visit Doreen and us, later we travelled to Dobbies and John Lewis in Ashford. Dobbies for some gardening supplies but really for lunch which for us consisted of a rather overpowering cream of broccoli soup and a buy one get one free cream scone. I have to report the scone was good, especially in terms of the volume of cream. It was a nice enough scone too, not a classic, but far better than many an offering I've sampled over the past year.
