Zelda, The Neighbor's Dog

Zelda is a Jack Russell Terrier who lives next door to the house I've been looking after. Her owner had her on a very long leash and let me take her picture, for which Zelda graciously posed.

No matter how long I live, I'll never meet a JR without thinking of Casey, the mightiest & sweetest dog in Wales. He's Ceridwen's 10-year old JR and I think he would have been very happy to meet Zelda if that were possible. Casey is (I think) the younger of the two, and certainly the better-trained, although Z has excellent manners.

Let there be more dogs like these!
