Riding on mum's back

This morning I went to the flowers and plants market at the town centre and on the way home I stopped at the artificial island to see if there was any progress at the swan's nest. The male was swimming away just as I reached the island which let me believe that I'd arrived too late and the female indeed didn't get up the entire time I was there, which was more than an hour. The Great Crested Grebes on the other hand were very lively so I took some photos of them instead.

Growing more anxious about the operation on my left foot with every day it comes closer.
