Cattle Cutting
I was invited back to Two Spruce Farms today to photograph one of their horse clinics. There were 8 participants and 2 instructors. Each person worked with 4 cows at a time. I hadn't heard of cattle cutting until today. The object is to separate a cow from the herd and keep him from returning. Horse and rider need to learn to respond quickly and turn sharply. There is definitely a lot of finesse involved. It was really fun to watch and learn about it. My blip illustrates the principle and I chose it from all the others because the horse is so beautiful.
