Blowing in the Wind
I went back to visit the ospreys today. This was one of the first shots I took of about 50 and it turned out to be my favorite. I love the way the wind is ruffling his feathers. I say "his" because the other of the pair was sitting in the nest and he was flying around. I actually got a picture of him flying but not good enough to post. At least he was fully in the frame and flying toward me this time....but very fuzzy. I think I'm starting to get the hang of it, though. :-) Saturday might become osprey blip day for me as long as this pair is nesting. I'll add this link to the osprey-cam whenever I blip them so you can take a look at them in action if you want. No eggs yet, probably another few weeks according to the experts.
