Gannets

Sula bassano, Solan Goose, the Gannet, one of my favourites! They return   to the cliffs late January and by now many have nested. They sit on sheer crag faces and the latecomers, usually younger birds, get the worse sites.
Today, left the snow of my garden to visit Troup Head, where it was sunny and windy. Back home now it is hot and sunny and all snow melted except from the tops.
