Black Rock Gorge

Difficult to show , but it is a 40 metre drop from the bridge to the burn. It's called a land slip and some Harry Potter sequences were filmed here.
It is spectacular but totally unfenced the whole length of the gorges, so not for the faint hearted or overenthusiastic!
The day started with lots of fresh snow down to about 300m, but much has melted in the hot sun. There were odd snow showers, but plenty of sun.
