New Hobby

Decided to try my hand at picture framing. These are a few results. They are all second hand frames and the red and gold one is quite old. All are local scenes. The gold mount I am particularly pleased with as it was a torn dirty beige mount which I mended , painted a base of acrylic gold then when it had dried painted another layer by blobbing little piles of gold acrylic then sponging it on the surface. Apparently there is a big call for local scenes as presents and souvenirs  to buy. Watch this space?
