sorbet...

...with a twist..

In the Bickley Valley today with L on a coolish and soggy day.
Lunch to be had and wines to be tasted at 'newish kid on the block' Due Jolly (Italian for two jokers) and my favourite hills vineyard Myatts Field.

The valley is home to orchards, cidery, vineyards and innovative folk who do things just a little bit differently.
There are different grape varieties (mourvedre, petit verdot, durif and vermentino to name but four), a quintet of wine sorbets and, I've just discovered, wine tours by horse back (including byo horse!).

And all this just up the road.
