Meeaggghhh!

My sister's cat is expressing vociferously how I am feel right now! I'm a bit cross and have temporarily lost my focus.

I had a little moment of frustration and disappointment just before this weekend when I 'accidentally' discovered that the hypnotherapy course had been cancelled at the eleventh hour. I failed to spot my internet connection had died so I hadn't received the email on Wednesday before setting off. Luckily, I rang the college from Cambridge to ask why I hadn't heard from them (to pay the next installment). I'm so glad I didn't turn up at 9.30 on Saturday morning in central London! The course will run in October. Six months to wait seems much more significant now I'm nearly 60 than it might have done even ten years ago! However, there are some positive aspects to the delay, not least of which is my preference for studying in the winter rather than all summer (25 hours/week-ish).

Also on the upside, it was lovely to spend a bit of time with Mum, and I had delightful evening with my sister and brother in law, too, en route to Somerset ...

... and the furry, blurry, raucously complaining cat. She really does go on a bit. I will try not to do the same.

Apologies for big gap in comments - I took my laptop and forgot to take the power cable. Being an American Alien (by which I mean the brand name, not my attitude to things American), there wasn't a hope in hell of finding a compatible cable. And at least I have an extra day to catch up with the work I took with me but couldn't access!
