Afternoon tea!

Mum and I went into the garden for a hour's fresh air in a borrowed wheelchair. It's the first time Mum has been outside since the end of January, apart from the traumatising expedition to the hospital last month. After about half an hour Mum said, all she needed now was a hot cup of tea - and than apologised for what sounded like a heavy hint, not what she'd intended. I nipped back to her flat and returned five minutes later with a tray of tea and sliver of chocolate cheesecake. Mu said the fresh air has really bucked her up.
