Durgerdam reeds
Low backlight through the verticals seems to have refracted into pinks and greens.
Not as strenuous a day as yesterday, we swooped down to the North with the birds. Geese in their thousands raged into the air above us when they were disturbed (the families and their goslings staying cooly on the ground). A whole island of nesting black headed gulls cackled across a stretch of water and lapwings looped and tumbled over the gated waterlands.
Back for a quiet night.
