Phlox divaricata

This little phlox grows wild along the creek. It is very pretty and another harbinger of spring (another blue!). It appears quite haphazardly; you never know where you are going to find it.

Today has been sunny most of the time but with a cold wind. It may go down to 35 tonight. We did not get any rain and certainly no storm from the system that came out of Oklahoma and went north east into Missouri but missed us. We could have done with the rain but don't mind missing any tornadoes that were in that system. I don't think there were any damaging ones.
