Iris

These are miniature iris and I don't know what they are. They came from a friend's garden years ago and have been moved about a lot in our garden. I think they are in their final home now! We are seeing more blue flowers now. Curious how early flowers are white, then yellow and now blue. Probably something to do with the insects they attract. That color sequence certainly seems to be true of wild flowers in the northern hemisphere.

A very misty start to the day today. Not nearly as warm as yesterday when it reached 83° here. The sun finally broke through this afternoon.
