You know we've got to find a way
These warm sunny days are making me want to be out and about; I got into work early this morning, so that I could get home early.. and was in the house by 5.15. :-)
After a lovely dinner, Tooli headed to the beer garden, where she had spent most of her afternoon with her Gran, and Si and I headed for the Garage to blow my tyres up and see what we could buy with our Money off voucher.
We spotted a funny boat getting towed into the harbour and so set off to have a wee look. We couldn't actually get parked at the easiest vantage point, so large was the queue for the Wee Hurry - There is space for maybe 10 people inside, there were 20 queued outside easy.
We parked at the Lifeboat station and watched as this massive pontoon was pulled in by one tug and pushed by another. It was very, very slow going and eventually it stopped and started to be pushed back and forward to the side of the wall. It was a working pontoon, with loads of portacabins plonked on top of it, like a little village on top of a barge.
All the while this was going on, Fishing boats were parking in the basin to our back - I grabbed this shot of the sun setting through the workings of the fish port.
