Four weeks to go

Today has been one of those stunningly beautiful days that surprise in Orkney. The morning wander with the dogs was really lovely and the first of the year where I left my jacket at home.
I came home and the nearly wife and I had coffee and spent the rest of the morning sorting things out before heading to Yesnaby to wander the dogs. Yesnaby was as spectacular as ever and the good weather had brought out the first of the tourists.
Back home and I attempted to remove two bits of breeze block from the inside of the boiler room chimney. I failed. I shall try again tomorrow.
